Defining Focus
Focus is having or producing clear visual definition. With focus you make something the centre of your attention, and the quality of your life depends on where you place it. What you manifest reflects your priorities.
When others achieve what we desire, it’s tempting to think they’re simply lucky. But this mindset only leads to frustration. Instead of comparing yourself, refocus on your own journey. Remember, where you place your attention determines your success.
Comparing yourself to others diminishes your self-worth and blinds you to your strengths. You begin to give importance to others capabilities instead of your own, and your own path fades from view. You become aware of the things you don’t have and this puts you in a lack mentality. This is a waste of your precious energy and inevitably creates feelings of resentment, unworthiness and self-doubt.
Don’t risk missing out on your blessings. What might be right for others may not be right for you, so always focus on what makes you happy. Since we can only focus on one thing at a time, choose wisely. Let go of complaints, block out negativity and stay committed to your dreams.
Happy and fulfilled people focus on their goals, not on others, and by prioritising your happiness you can achieve fulfilment too. You can bring anything you desire into your own world. But first focus inward – not on what everyone else is doing or achieving.
Refocus your attention
What are you focused on? Are you focused on what truly matters, or are you caught up in distractions that drain your energy? Do you think others spend time focusing on you?
Your life is ultimately a product of what you allow into your conscious and subconscious mind. It is defined by what you bring into your own state of awareness, ultimately influencing your thoughts and actions. To reach your goals, cut out distractions and focus on growth. Focus on self-improvement, not limitations.
Focus shapes your life. Whether it’s your career, relationships, or health, what you prioritise becomes your reality. So, ask yourself if you’re listening to things that inspire you or things that affect you negatively. Are you putting importance onto menial tasks or prioritising things that bring abundance? Everything has a positive or negative impact.
In order to succeed, give yourself your full attention. Filter out what doesn’t serve you and prioritise your life. Focusing on yourself isn’t selfish, but an act of self-love. By maintaining your motivation you can achieve everything you truly desire. – Remember, whatever you focus on expands.
Focus on the task at hand, and you’ll propel yourself forward. By filling your own cup you can improve your mindset and excel in every possible way, progressing and upgrading your life to the fullest.
By focusing inward you place value on what makes you happy, on what brings you joy, on your interests. When you focus on yourself you become more concerned about what’s important in your own life, and work on yourself to improve your future.
Focusing outwardly gives birth to the wrong things, the wrong feelings, the wrong emotions, and this will only draw negativity in. Focus on yourself to align with your own truth and attract blessings. This shift allows you to grow and thrive without the distraction of others.
Focus on positivity. When you treat people well, you allow greater things to come to fruition. You create a more joyful environment. You allow yourself to become kinder and more appreciative of what you have. Embrace a positive mindset, and you’ll open the door to the life you truly desire, making room for what really matters.
Prioritise your happiness and watch how it transforms you. What you focus on dictates what comes in, ultimately affecting the quality of your experience. Ask yourself where your priorities lie before assuming everyone else is luckier than you. Remember what life is about.
What are you prioritising?
Are you following your passions or concerned about an unfulfilling job? Do you focus on procrastination or creativity? Replace self-limiting beliefs with thoughts of abundance, and watch it elevated you.
Are you inspiring others or hindering them? What goes around comes around, so remain conscious of the energy you emit. Do you value your friendships and create a circle of people who support you? Inspire others, and they’ll inspire you in return.
Sometimes we can lose sight of what’s important. When others upset us, this can cloud our judgement and we remain in a negative place, instead of seeing things for what they are. When you focus on the negative you diminish your spirit. Focus on abundance and unlock your potential. Shift away from limitations to eliminate self-doubt. Set your mind on higher things.
It’s easy to lose focus in today’s world. We are bombarded by a perpetual flow of information on a daily basis. Phones, news and social media can flood your mind with negativity. We get distracted and lose our ability to concentrate. Focusing on these things only encourage feelings of self-doubt and insecurity, generating feelings of anxiety and depression.
Our habits determine our lives. So, ask yourself whether you’re creating the habits that lead you to the life you intend to have? Or focussed on things that don’t matter? Align your mind and heart with your purpose. Use your talents to live a life of integrity and fulfilment. Focus is everything. It shapes your reality, so choose wisely.
In order to bring in the things you want you need to examine your life. Evaluate how you are spending your time. Know where you’re going and keep your eyes on the prize. It is useless to focus on anything else, so direct your energy to the right place. Approach things with clarity and never lose sight of where you are headed. When you do this your focus will lead you to greater productivity and better things.
It is important to be selective. Focus is everything and it will ultimately dictate the quality of your surroundings. So, prioritise your health and treasure your friends. Look after your family and your own wellbeing. Give importance to your career, finances, and your future. By focusing on the important things, you set the precedence for everything else that comes in. You accept your blessings and shape your own destiny.
